Leanspa is a terrible product. The caffeine content makes you very nervous and irritable. Then there is extreme crash. Plus customer service is terrible. When you cancel online, they tell you you didn’t. When they tell you they will refund half, the don’t. The manager, Terry, is rude and called me a liar. I am taking them to small claims court. Stay away from this product. I am sure there are better weight loss products for much less money and that don’t have to lie to keep in business.

Somehow they can’t find me when I call within the states period to cancel my “free trail” and they say the order must not have gone through, there’s no record of me. Then I get the product and I’m told I’m cancelled out of it but can keep the product for $20. I get another shipment and my credit card has now been charged $160. Now I get attitude and am told there’s not such record of any of this my the manager who refused to refund me….BUT THE FIRST PERSON i SPOKE WITH saw all this. I think she deleted this so there was no proof and they could keep my $. So angry with them…STAY AWAY!!!!!

In the first week of taking LeanSpa with Acai, I lost 3 pounds by the end of first 4 weeks, I lost a total of 12 pounds of fat and gained 4 pounds of muscle. Did not get to really try the product. Found I didn’t have 30 days to try it, had it for approximately 10 days. Canceled so as to not be charged for something I didn’t know if it would work and was charged for it anyway at $79.99. Free 30 day trial ended costing $ 84,94 to use the product for approximately 10 days. Can’t tell you if it is a good product or not, I can tell you that it is extremely expensive. $84.95 for 10 days is very costly. $84.95 for 30 days would be quite a lot too. I would caution all to beware! Watch your credit card bills for unexpected charges.

Lean Spa is a total scam!!!!!! This company took $40 of my money and I never received a product. They were total tools at dealing with me. By the way, it’s not even a free product “just pay S&H” (I read the fine print too)Apparently you have three options of canceling none of which are free. They want me to pay full price because I didn’t cancel in time. How I do I determine whether or not to cancel when I never had it to try. I own a business and would never screw someone like this and then not be willing to work with them. They gave me a partial refund when one of the cancellation options was a better deal. Why could they not give me the better deal? Because I didn’t call to cancel on time (I actually called on time to track the shipping but didn’t choose a cancellation option because I hadn’t been able to try it yet! I was even willing to settle for the $20 option but they would not offer it because it was “too late”. Still haven’t received anything and I am now short $40 (a lot of money in my opinion) and was treated like crap by the company. I’m going to take a moment to clear up a bit of negativity about the Leanspa product without ignoring the obvious irritation within the Terms & Conditions.
The “free” trial is, in fact, NOT a free trial. I will state that right away. HOWEVER, at first, you only pay a couple dollars for shipping, and within a 14 day trial period you have the option of going online and canceling the product (by doing that you will be charged about $20 in order to keep the product), OR you have the option of getting a return code of sorts and shipping the bottle back (even if empty!) no charge. All you have to do is pay for the shipping.
That is why they are able to call it a “free trial,” because you have the option of sending back the bottle after trying it. But if you fail to do one of these two things within the short 14 day trial period, you will end up paying $79.99 for the bottle, and they will continue to charge your account every month and send you bottles.
I am a poor college student, and thankfully I cancelled only two days after having the product and was able to only pay the $20. And so far, I am very satisfied with the product. My energy level is increased, my hunger is decreased, and I am not really craving very many sweets. What I DO crave is water, which is a good thing.
A side effect I have noticed is irritability due to all the caffeine in the product. But this is easily fixed if you exercise enough to burn it off. I swim and run, so eventually the stress and irritability leaves. ALSO, I’ve already lost 3 pounds and it hasn’t even been a week!

i havent been through the hassles so far cos i still havent called the customer service….its been over 5 days that i have been using this product ..the first day i felt weak and low on energy…i must thank leanspa though for emptying my stomach well!! over 4 days i havent seen a bit of change…but hope to keep it for another week before i call customer service up!! ….yes my appetite has lowered…and i feel hungry much lesser …but i dont really see any change…hope to see it soon…:)

I ordered the free trial for Leanspa a couple of weeks ago. I canceled my order on the phone the very next day. On the phone they try to charge you $20 to keep the month supply, however all you have to do is get a number from them and mail back the empty bottle. I just put all of the pills in a plastic bag. It only cost me the shipping for the bottle getting to me and the shipping to mail back the empty bottle, which was all under $10. They get people because they do not read the fine print. If this process is followed it is very cheap for a months supply.
I’ve been taking the product for about four days so far. It deceased my appetite tremendously! I get full so much faster. I have been feeling like I have a little more energy but I don’t think I’ve been taking it long enough to see a big difference yet. It has increased my bow movements and they have been loose. It is very uncomfortable if you are not near a bathroom!!!

Well, I like everyone else ordered the free trial and I read the terms and conditions, so when I recieved the bottles I called and canceled. I did over a recorded message that said I could keep everything for $19.41. So I got the cancelation number, the e-mail and was charged the right amount. I didn’t know about the scams, so after I cancelled I was still worried that they would charge me and just say I didn’t cancelled! So I called them… I spoke with the girl who confirmed that my account was cancelled and I was not gonna be chaged. But as I still dont believe, I keep my bank account with $50.00 or less, as I used my debit card, I just cancelled that overdraft coverage feature. So for now if they charge me, the bank will not accept the transaction and I’ll be safe. As for the pills, I started low on my body, I took One pill a day for the first week, and now I started with 2, one before lunch and the other one before dinner. I did notice some fat loss and I can’t eat too much anymore, yesterday I tried to eat a pizza with my husband… I ate 3 slices and Good God… I was so full, I couldn’t even breathe!!! The caffeine, yes made me nervous the first week, but now I’m fine… I think it works… At least is working for me… But go slow… increse the ammount of pills you take slowly afet each week!!!

I DID read the fine print, over and over, I only saw that I would be charged the $4.95 S&H. Unfortunately, I ordered before reading the bad reviews so I immediately e-mailed and called LeanSpa and asked them not to ship my product and not to charge me anything. I also called my credit card company right away and since it was immediately charged 5 minutes before I called them, they couldn’t do anything about it. However, I received a cancellation e-mail stating I would have to pay $19.41 and no future product would be shipped and no further charges would take place. I have sent that to my credit card company and they will not accept any future charges from LeanSpa. I hope the product actually shows up since I have now paid $19.41 + $4.95 S&H for the “free” trial. Sounds better than most the people who were charged a full month’s worth at regular price because they didn’t call within the 14 day period. Definitely would not recommend to anyone and will definitely do more research on-line before ordering another product. This is the 1st time something crappy has happened after years of on-line shopping.

Darn it. I’m really worried about this. I got my ‘free’ trial on Thursday, Dec. 1. I used my paypal card. I’m going to contact them first thing in the morning and ask them to not authorize any payments from this company. I think I’m gonna put my bottle on Ebay too. All this talk about irritability and crashing – doesn’t even seem worth it. I saw this ad originally on facebook. I think they need to know about this scam too. I heard about Lean Spa Acai from a co-worker and was interested. I decided to look up a few reviews to see if it might be the product for me. I have read review after review after review about how a person ordered the pills, canceled after receiving their order and got chargeed full price because they didn’t cancel within the 14 day trial period or tried to cancel right after receiving the product, etc. The only positive reviews I have read is about the actual effectiveness of the poduct and how good it works!! Out of the hundred plus reviews I have read, any positive ones focussed on how much weight was lost! I have no intention on ordering the product and cancelling the order – it works! Totally fraudulent business practices. They say they will give you 14 days for a “free” trial . YEt the product was nit recieved until the 11th day. Then a credit charge was made on the 12th day. There was no 14 day trial and ability to cancel within 14 days. SO is this false advertising or fraud? lucky my credit card company texted me within minutes that lean spa made the charge (robbery). Attempted to contact this”business” but there is always some bogus message you get and no one to talk to. Good luck on attempting to email their “customer” (mark) service department. They will be hearing from the fraud department of my credit card company.

My wife just bought this and hadn’t received it. The email with the tracking number goes to nothing that is valid. Calling them is a joke. Told her to call the bank and take care of this. If you fell victim to these people all you have to do is call your bank or CC company and file a dispute and tell them to you want to have a chargeback done. This will get you your money back and hurt their merchant account. Also for safe measures, I would insist that you cancel the card and get a new one so they can’t charge any fraudulent charges to it. If you truly want to lose weight, do not order diet pills. Of course, that is always a shortcut and an easy way out, but keep in mind everything comes with a price and nothing is free in this world. Instead save yourself some money and lose weight the healthy and natural way. It takes a lot of discipline to be able to eat healthy and exercise daily but you’ll end up with a much greater and better outcome versus taking diet pills; you will get skinny, and you’ll have a great image etc… but does it help you discipline yourself to keep healthy habits? Obviously not. Once you stop taking the pills you’re back to ground zero and perhaps some extra health problems that you may not know of or was not warned about. Keep in mind, THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS IN LIFE. If you work hard, you’ll get the end results that you want.
I highly disapprove of LeanSpa or any other diet products. Before ordering, whether if it is a trial or not READ READ READ READ EVERY SINGLE WORD OF THE TERMS&CONDITION! Also weigh out the PROS and CONS first, DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Like an idiot I ordered this “too good to be true” product. Never once have I done it before and I’ll never do it again. I canceled my order, received and printed my cancelation notice but yet I was still charged the $79.00. I have yet to actually receive anything since being charged.
Has anyone ever actually received their money back? I see where people have had to cancel their cards and/or accounts to quit being charged. Has anyone ever gotten through to the company via phone? A coworker (who did this with me and has experienced everything too) and I have been trying to call all morning with out any luck. I purchase the leanspa with acai and the leanspa cleanse, for the price of 1.95 i read all the fine print, and i planned on canceling as soon as i received my order, and then if it worked i would then re order it. When i called the number to get an RMA they did not answer the phone, it would go to an answering machine saying they were experiencing large call volumes and to call back at a later time, i then sent an email to support@leanspa.com with subject as CANCEL and put both of my order numbers in the emails asking them to cancel, then since i knew they would not be emailing me back; because this is a big SCAM to take people’s money, i contacted my credit card told them what was happening that i had read all the scam reviews, and i followed the advice of Karen from above, and i had them cancel that credit account, issue me a new account number, and send me a new card. The lady at my credit card then said if i received any charges, they would gladly credit them, and file a dispute. This is what i would recommend of anybody! File a Dispute from your credit card, and contact the Better Business Bureau, so they will be investigated and shut down.

I canceled in the ten days and they still charged me $80 twice over next 2months but didnt even receive anymore, when I called the number on bottle and it hung up after recording. finally after 2 weeks of this i got threw and spoke to someone who said she couldnt do anything but i could send them back for refund after they got them. i said i didnt wanna send them back and then get nothing back and asked how i know they will refund the $ when they said they werent gonna charge me after i canceled but did. so i asked to speak to a superviser, she asked me to hold and then i was hung up on and have not been able to spek w/a real person since. im out $170 already and today they charged $1.95 to my account.. for WHAT????????? i ordered the leanspa and i did not have any difficulty with returning it.. i was dumb when i ordered it and didnt read the fine print so i freaked out when my card got charged the 79.99 cuz i wasnt really interested in paying for it every month.. i just wanted to try it out.. but i called the number on their site so i could cancel the account and instead of pressing 0 to talk to a representative, where it said i could wait up to a half hour to talk to someone, i pressed 1 and typed a bunch of numbers in until it connected me with a representative.. that is the ONLY way to get ahold of them.. but i got a hold of a lady and she told me that they had sent out the next bottle of leanspa pills and i told her that i didnt want them.. and she said alls i had to do was write my RMA number on the package and send it back..The RMA number was emailed to me from that lady and was sent into my junk mail and she told me she cancelled my account.. i had not recieved the package containing the second bottle yet and i get my mail thru a post office and i told the lady at the post office that i didnt want the pills so she just refused the package (i didnt take it home or open it) and she sent it back and i got a full refund of 79.99 to my card a few days later and i didnt have to pay the $20 fee for the original bottle… not sure why everyone else is having such a hard time… i hope this helps..

I’m pretty sure it IS NOT a scam. I ordered a bottle and paid just $1 for shipping, received the LeanSpa pills within 5 days (like they said) called the next day to cancel and talked to a very nice young man who was MORE then helpful in canceling my order, he told me exactly what to do and that I could send the EMPTY bottle back so all I had to do was pay the little bit of shipping. Then he told me my account was now canceled and I would NOT be charged anything. and I wasn’t. So I ended up getting the pills for about $5 I would say that’s a great deal! (and not a scam) Though I feel very bad for all the people who did not have such a good experience.
I’ve been taking the pills for 2 days so far and feel wonderful!! I like how natural they are with all the herbs in them and how they are actually “good” for your body and not wrecking it.

I e-mailed them and they sent me a reply saying it was automated and that due to high volumes it would be best to contact them via phone. After finally getting through to them on the phone, 30 min on hold, I speak to a lady and I explain and she says that they have no record of me calling them however “I am going to believe that you did call” WTF I just wanted my money back so I didn’t argue but REALLY?? Then how did I get an RMA#???>>?? Anyway she said it would take 5 days to post credit if I don’t see it I will go through my bank.

These reviews are freaking me out! lol I got my leanspa two days ago and just started them today. My 14 day trial ends the 10th of march. I got the pills within the 5 days like they said. I’m a poor college student and nervous about getting charged the ridiculous amount of money, so I called the customer service and cancelled. I asked the lady about the $20 dollar fee that i’ve been hearing about..and she said that I would not even get charged that since I cancelled within my free trial period. I got sent a confirmation e-mail saying that my account is cancelled and I will not be charged anything or sent any more products. I will keep checking my bank account to make sure that I do not get charged. I read all the fine print so i was aware of the charge that could happen, however I am following all the directions and hopefully i will not get scammed.
…and of course..i hope the product works- spring break is 2 weeks away and I need a quick fix

What a rip off!!!! I tried the “FREE” trail, pay shipping only… All the other crap. Here’s the catch, you get a 30day “free” trail, which you need to cancel within 14days of ORDERING not receiving, and then if you want to keep the 30day free trial (which after shipping time you’ve only have about 5 days) then you either need to return your free 30 trail or pay $19.41 to keep your “free 30day trial”.
There is no “FREE 30DAY TRIAL” Dont get scammed….

Folks, eventually everyone reading this page will learn that diet pills, if they do work, are very short term, and you will have to change your diet, reduce your calories, exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, and stop being a couch potato.
We as a species were not bred to be lazy. We were bred to move. So MOVE! If you are too afraid to hit the gym, there are a million great dvd workout programs out there, some of which require no equipment, some which are extreme and a massive challenge, some which just ask you to shake your tail feather.
I was the gym rat, took up boxing for a year, took classes, then IBS got its grip on me. For years I bailed on exercise, got lipo (three times!), did my thing with binge eating then not eating at all, tried OTC diet pills, everything. Then in 2008 I read a book called “Skinny Bitch,” was horrified at what went on with the Industrial Food Chain that we all participate in, and went cold stone vegan. No animal product of any kind. I did this on 7/24/08 and I haven’t looked back. Why? Eliminating dairy and meat eliminated my IBS. Since the day I made my change, I have experienced maybe 5 flare ups, mostly due to sugar free flavors in coffee, which contain maltitol – a laxative by any other name.
Then in the fall of 2009, I went on eBay and bought a set of P90X dvd’s, and after messing around a little, I noticed – hey, look I got some triceps going on here, maybe I should follow the calendar and write down what I was doing, including maintaining a food diary. The end result? I lost an additional 15 pounds, reduced my body fat percentage by 6% (in a year), and I have the makings of a six pack. I am 45 years old and female, and I’m in my second week of Turbo Fire. It’s grueling, but I’m going to conquer it.
Do the math, people! Pills won’t hold you if you don’t take care of your body. Write down what you eat (and don’t lie!), keep a journal of your food – how does it make you feel, etc. In that same journal, write down what exercise you do that day, even if it’s just a quick 10 minute walk, or if you opt for the stairs instead of the elevator. JUST MOVE.
I don’t advocate a vegan diet for people who physically need meat. But what I do advocate is for people to take responsibility for what they put in their mouths and for them to sweat out the crap. Keep this in mind – if your food doesn’t decompose, IT’S NOT FOOD. And you know what doesn’t decompose, so stop trying to defend the excessive fat, calories, sodium and chemicals you’re pumping into your bodies.

I just got my free trial in the mail. First off, how many pills do I take a day? I got both the clense and the other one. The bottle says take 2 pills 3 times a day and for the clense take 3 once a day. I was looking online and it said take one of each per day. Which one should I do? I’m 18 150 lbs. Also, I paid with a debit card. Are they going to send me bills? Do I have to cancel anything? And how do i do it?
